Master of Business and International Management

The Master in Business and International Management is the result of a cooperation between Nice-Sofia Antipolis University (UNS) and Thang Long University (TLU). The master diploma is delivered by UNS and is recognized by the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam.

This master course is completely delivered in English.

Recruitment

The master is opened for registration to any candidate holding a regular bachelor degree, regardless of its speciality. Applicants should have a good command of English language with a level equivalent to 5.5 IELTS.

Applicants who have successfully registered their candidateship will have to pass an interview made in English.

Candidates who passed the interview and did not have a satisfactory English level can follow English courses at no supplementary cost before the start of the curriculum.

Calls for applications are launched two times a year, usually in March-April and in October-November.

Cost of Registration and Tuition fees

- Application and interview fees : 1 million VN dongs.
- Tuition fees for the whole master period: equivalent in VN dongs of 4,000 euros at the current exchange rate.
- Master thesis guidance and examination: 10 million VN dongs.

Curriculum

The master curriculum comprises 360 hours of class lectures and 4 months for training in enterprises that lead to a short master thesis memory. The total training duration period is two years.

Fourteen disciplines are taught in face-to-face lectures and 4 disciplines are taught in online and distance lectures. About 2/3 of lectures are performed by teachers from UNS and 1/3 by selected professors from various universities of Vietnam.

English teaching amounts to 200 hours. Classes are usually offered outside normal administrative hours.

Master courses at TLU

The Thang Long University (TLU) is currently offering seven post-graduate courses, including one master course on Business and International Management, delivered in English by the University of Nice-Sofia Antipolis (UNS, France) in collaboration with TLU.

The six local master courses are:

  1. Applied Mathematics (code: 60.46.01.12)
  2. Methods in Elementary Mathematics (code: 60.46.01.13)
  3. Business Administration (code: 60.34.01.01.02)
  4. Finance and Banking (code: 60.34.01.02.01)
  5. Social Work (code: 60.90.01.01)
  6. Public Health (code: 60.72.03.01)

 

The training period for these post-graduate courses is 3 semesters (18 months).The teaching language is in vietnamese.


To register for a master course and pass the entrance examination, candidates should hold a bachelor degree in the corresponding field of training. Candidates who hold a bachelor degree in relatively close disciplines may have to follow complementary courses in order to fulfill the prior knowledge requirements for the selected master program.


Recruitment calls for the post-graduate courses are usually issued from July until the end of August. Entrance examinations are hold in October and courses usually will start in November.

Entrance examinations are based on three different subjects according to each master program:

  1. English, Advanced Algebra and Analytics for programs (1) and (2);
  2. English, Econometrics and Economics for programs (3) and (4);
  3. English, Introduction to Social Work and Human Behavior and the Social Environment for program (5);
  4. English, Biomedical Statistics and Environmental Health for program (6).

 

Tuition fees for covering a complete master course amount to 30 million VN dongs.
