SUCCESSFUL STATE-LEVEL RESEARCH PROJECT: “Adolescent crime: Social reality and Prevention solutions in Vietnam Social Development”

The project Adolescent crime: Social reality and Prevention solutions in Vietnam Social Development”(Code: KX.02.24/11-15) in the state-level research program “Studies on Vietnam Social Development and Control to 2020” was chaired by Prof. Dr. Đặng Cảnh Khanh, Head of Social Sciences and Humanities Department of Thang Long University.

The project was conducted from 2002 to 2005 and had clarified the theoretical background and methodology on adolescent crime prevention in the social development and control in Vietnam. It had also brought important insights about the reality and trend of this type of crime as well as prevention solutions in the present social and economic context of the country.

On May 17th 2016, at the Vietnam Ministry of Science and Technology, the project has been evaluated as distinctive by Office for Essential State-level Programs.
