Centre Of Quality Assurance And Assessment

The Centre of Quality Assurance and Assessment has the function of advising and assisting the Rector in quality assurance, accreditation and assessment.

Specifically

1. Quality assurance and accreditation

  • Proactively advise the Rector to issue regulatory documents and guidelines on educational quality assurance and accreditation.
  • Advise on the development and implementation of the University's quality assurance strategy and plan; preside over the self-assessment of educational institutions; be the focal point for the self-assessment of training programs and educational quality accreditation activities.
  • Act as the focal point for managing the University's internal quality assurance network; coordinate with other units to periodically collect feedback from stakeholders.
  • Develop a quality assurance information system; propose a quality improvement plan after self-assessment and external evaluation; guide the quality improvement at units of the University.
  • Preside over and coordinate with other units in building and developing quality culture in the University; manage and use the University's database on quality assurance; make statistics and report the quality assurance results as prescribed.
  • Cooperate to organize training activities to improve the quality assurance capacity for cadres and lecturers of the University.
  • Coordinate with relevant units to build and expand cooperation with quality assurance organizations and register quality accreditation domestically and internationally.

2. Assessment

  • Advise the Rector to issue documents on management of assessment activities, regulations and guidelines for examination and assessment of students' capacity.
  • Chair and coordinate in organizing the process examinations, the course completion, and English language ability for undergraduate training. 
  • Preside over the printing of exam questions.
  • Chair the objective multiple-choice exam grading and reexamination grading.
  • Lead to develop, manage and use the bank of exam questions and data on learning outcomes of undergraduate students.
  • Count and analyze learners' learning outcomes and propose solutions to improve the quality of learner testing and evaluation.
  • Coordinate to organize training activities to improve the assessment capacity for cadres and lecturers of the University.

  • Collect feedback from stakeholders.
  • Implement self-assessment of training program.
  • Develop and implement an annual quality assurance plan; improvement plan after self-assessment and external evaluation.
  • Organize the process examinations and the course completion.
  • Print the exam questions.
